LNG carbon offsetting: fleeting trend or sustainable practice?

Climate-change mitigation policies are evolving around the world and companies across all sectors are paying more attention to the sustainability of their activities. In recent months several energy companies have announced ambitious carbon-neutrality targets, with more or less distant time horizons. Despite the fact that natural gas is the cleanest burning hydrocarbon, GHG emissions associated with the natural gas supply chain - including LNG - are increasingly scrutinized by regulators and public opinion.
