Canada's Emergency Preparedness and Climate Adaptation Convention

As the frequency and intensity of natural hazards across Canada increases the importance of creating a national event that promotes and builds resilience for a systematic, evidence-based, all-hazards approach to emergency management. The launch of the Canadian Emergency Preparedness and Climate Adaptation Convention (CEPCA), showcases the commitment of government, companies and communities to increase disaster risk awareness, preparedness, readiness and response to manage disasters and aftereffects.
